Sales / Closing Rep — Commission-Only

About the role

Ziema-29 Technologies designs websites, builds custom software, and creates AI automation tools for growing businesses. We're bringing on a sales closer to run consultation calls with warm, pre-qualified leads referred by our Marketing team (or self-sourced, where agreed) and turn them into signed clients. This is an independent contractor role, not an employment position (no vacation pay, statutory benefits, EI/CPP — contractor handles their own tax remittances).

What you'll do

• Run consultation calls using our Sales Playbook and quote from our current Master Price List
• Log deal stage, quoted price, and outcome accurately in our Sales Pipeline tracker
• Confirm each Marketing-sourced lead as "held" and "qualified" promptly after the call (this confirmation also triggers Marketing's pay, so timeliness matters)
• Prepare and send written proposals within 48 hours of a completed consultation

Pay

• 10% commission on every deal you personally close
• One-time projects (web dev, MVP, UI/UX, custom software, AI agent): 10% of total signed project value
• Recurring services (managed hosting, app support retainers): 10% of the first month's fee
• Commission is earned once the client has signed and made their first payment; paid weekly (every Friday) via e-transfer or direct deposit, for deals confirmed through end of day the prior Wednesday
• No cap on earnings
• Note: if a client cancels or receives a full refund within 14 days of signing, the associated commission already paid will be deducted from your next payout

What we're looking for

• Confident, consultative communicator — comfortable discussing pricing and handling objections
• Some background in sales, client services, or account management preferred
• Based in or near Brantford, ON (fully remote — flexible schedule)
• Organized — expected to log every call and follow up on your own pipeline support@ziema29.com
